Life seems to be flying by so fast and I can't believe that I haven't stopped to smell the roses OR blog about it! Since we have moved into our new house we have cleaned, unpacked, cleaned, dealt with sick kids, cleaned, dealt with sick kids, and cleaned some more. In between all of that we have been dealing with Hank's new schedule of working midnight shift (dislike) and my photography business picking up due to the graduating seniors! But the most important topic at hand...Tryp graduating Pre-K!
From this picture above it looks like graduation was a success but unfortunately Tryp inherited my gene of shyness as a child. Poor little guy cried during pretty much the whole thing. He walked out tall and proud but then he sat in his chair and looked around at the 30+ parents staring at him and he just lost it. It got worse during the singing portion of the evening where the kids sang some cute little songs about graduating and getting ready for Kindergarten.
Bet you can’t guess which one of the kids above is Tryp. Haha. It would be the one NOT smiling. Although I wish he was happy and not crying, I just know that he has some personality traits that he inherited from both his father and myself. I am definitely not a shy person now so I hope that he will grow out of that. :)
I have been super blessed with such a wonderful son and I am beyond thrilled that he will be coming with me to school next year. I am so excited to see him learn more! In fact, I tell his Kindergarten-teacher-to-be EVERY DAY how excited I am. Lately, he has been getting so polite. He has been saying “thank you” and “yes ma’am” without being prompted anymore and because he truly wants to. How can you not love this precious face. I love those freckles.
