So I have been loving my chocolate Cinch shakes that I make for breakfast. They are super quick and easy! And I enjoy the taste (which is key)!
When I got my chocolate Cinch shake mix, I also purchased the vanilla as well. I tried the vanilla once and I wasn’t sure that I liked it very well. So this past weekend I thought I would give it a whirl again and oh my goodness! It was fabulous! So I thought I would share with you how I made it…
Here is what you will need:
-Milk (I use 2%, the pkg recommends Soy for better weight loss results!)
Okay here we go…
1. Get your materials. :) I’m really bad about not knowing which season produces which fruit but I always smell strawberries to know if they are good or not. I probably look crazy sniffing the boxes of strawberries at the store but I know that sweet smell tells me that they are going to be good! :)
Also, I have found a new love for blueberries. I used to never really like them. I did like blueberry flavored things but not the berries themselves. I don’t know what has changed but I LOVE them. I can sit and eat them forever.
2. Now you need to measure out 1 cup of milk and 1 scoop of Cinch shake mix. Then add them to your blender/food processor. I used my processor because I already had it out (making baby food) and just cleaned well before I mixed the shake. I didn’t want to get something else out to have to clean later. Smart, right? ;) **If you noticed…I really really really need a new measuring cup!**
3. Next, you will clean your strawberries and blueberries.You will also cut off the stems of the strawberries. Sorry to disappoint you but I don’t have any pictures of me cutting the stems off. I’m pretty sure I am not that talented…to hold a camera in one hand and snap a picture of me cutting strawberries with only one hand.
Anyway, you will then add your cut up strawberries to your milk and shake mixture. Then the blueberries. I honestly just eyeballed this. I don’t know how much to tell you to add. Just add to your liking. :)
My favorite things about this shake are:
-It keeps me full until lunch because it is packed with 24g of protein!
-It has TONS of nutrients!
-It tastes good! ;)
-It aids in weight loss!
